Walks & Outings

Leashes

Are required on and off property, by county ordinance.
  • Pottie Time

Our guests typically find that a walk in the neighborhood, pausing to pick up anything left behind, is the easiest way to meet their doggie's needs.
  • Pick Up Bags

Are available on and off property. We have poop pick-up bags in our office and you will find them in dispensers in some of the neighborhood pocket parks.
  • Paw Parks

The dog parks (paw parks) below are listed, near to far for your convenience.
    • Bicentennial Park — About 1 mile. Across from McDonald's(R) by the Tom Stuart Causeway, Madeira Beach. Dog swimming permitted.
    • Boca Ciega Millenium Park — About 5 miles. Address: 12410 74th Ave. N. (Old Oakhurst Rd.)
 Seminole, FL 33772
    • Eagle Lake Park, Largo, FL
    • Walsingham Park, Largo, FL
    • Fort Desoto Park — About 13 miles. Address: 3500 Pinellas Bayway S., Tierra Verde, FL 33715
    • Anderson Park, Tarpon Springs, FL
    • Chestnut Park, Palm Harbor, FL

    Beaches

    • Our favorite — Fort Desoto Park, Tierra Verde, FL
    • Close — only 1 mile from 'home'. Lacks the beauty of the Gulf Beaches, but perfect for exercise: Bicentennial Park Madeira Beach, FL
    • Lovely — Sand Key Park, Clearwater, FL
    • Great for a Day Trip — Honeymoon Island State Park, Dunedin, FL
