Sunset Beach, T.I.
Sunset Beach is one of three main beaches in Treasure Island.
- It is located at the south tip of Treasure Island, and has a 5/10 mile boardwalk which encircles the tip of the island.
- It’s popular for fishing and just strolling.
- From the southmost tip one can look across waterway (called Blind Pass) to Upham’s Beach at St. Pete Beach.
Near the sign, above, right is the Sunset Beach Pavilion.
Restrooms and outdoor showers are located at the Sunset Beach Pavilion, 8000 West Gulf Boulevard (at 80th Avenue).
Sunset Beach is largely a residential area, with the notable exception of
Caddy’s on the Beach – a great beach ‘diner’ that has families, couples and young people love.
