Island Paradise Cottages and Apartments of Madeira Beach was originally built around 1945. It consisted then of two properties, one called the ‘Davis Cottages’ and the other called 'Stephanie’s Apartments'. The properties went under joint ownership around 1985 and operated under the name 'BJ Bungalows' for roughly 15 years. In renovating the property, Bill and June have chosen to respect and preserve as much of the “classic Florida” character as possible, while making the accommodations comfortable and distinctive by today’s standards.
In 2004, Island Paradise was selected for the 2004 Madeira Beach Award for Outstanding Appearance and Landscaping! In 2006, Island Paradise was approved as a member of the Florida Superior Small Lodging program. This program, which has rigorous standards and requires a detailed on-site inspection, is your assurance of getting the best Florida has to offer!
